She could have a can of spinach opened and in the pan faster than Grandpa could hit the cuspidor in the hallway from the kitchen table. "Git outa my kitchen with that shit!" she would scream. The only time she ever cursed and the only time Grandpa ever laughed. Except when Mama opened cans, that blade would whir and squeak and Grandpa would laugh "Listen to her go!" he would say.
