Changes
The warmth of the sun has been swallowed. Absorbed by the dense, fearce fog. The colour of life drained through the sieve of Autumn. Only traces of oranges, Browns and reds to be seen. The land appears bleak, baron and bare. Summer is decaying in the sodden ground. Trees stand naked, their life swept into piles beneath. Birds scavenge for food before the frost bites. But if you look a little closer, beyond what you see, Autumn appears alive, alert and attractive. The grass stands jewelled like emeralds shining. The colours combine to create a camouflage carpet, Providing and protecting the army of mini beasts below. Hidden gems of precious life are all around. Summer doesn't die, it provides power and life. Feeding and nurturing like a mother to its child. So pull on the boots for jumping in puddles, Go and explore the deep forest so dark and damp. Embrace the changes from season to season, As one dies another leaps into life. You just need to open your eyes.
