Her Story
I'm talking to her, she's talking to me, What came next just puzzled me, She starts calling me names in front of her friends, And slowly my happiness fades and just ends, I think to myself, why was she so cruel? Was it so others would think she was cool? Does she realise I'm hurting inside? Did she realise I went home and cried? My mum heard me crying and asked what was wrong, But I couldn't tell her you called me a mong, I couldn't open up so I closed off completely, Because of the way these girls would mistreat me. Sat here on my own, alone in my bedroom, Wondering why they tease me, The pain that they cause it hurts me inside, And no one is here to stand by my side, I need someone here somebody who cares, Somebody to talk to, to drown out the stares. I looked at my phone I had a missed call, Maybe there is someone after all, My friends and family are clear to see, There not the people who have hurt me, They stand by my side and help through it all, Maybe it's time to stand proud and stand tall, I'm different but that's not a problem at all.
