Inside My Head For Contest
Inside my head there is just so much stuff and most of it useless, strangely enough stupid facts that I learned in childhood days I use every day to confuse and amaze A slug has four noses, I’m sure you knew And elephants can’t jump, it’s also true Every house fly will hum in the key of F And when bats leave a cave they always turn left there’s no paper money, it’s all made of cotton and Honey’s forever, it never goes rotten a tiger has striped skin and not just striped fur there’s no cats in the Bible, no wonder they purr Octopuses have three hearts, nine brains and blue blood Snails can sleep for three years – if only I could Here’s one you should try, you can’t tickle yourself And don’t sneeze with your eyes open – bad for your health Ants fall to the right when they’ve drunk too much beer Polar bears are left-handed, isn’t that queer? Birds cannot pee and worms eat their own poo And a crocodile can’t poke his tongue out at you Kangaroos cannot jump if you lift up their tail And a small child could swim through the veins of a whale Worms taste of bacon, starfish have no brain But when they lose a limb, they can grow it again A shrimp has a heart which he keeps in his head A hot Hippo is scary, his sweat is bright red The best thought in my head though, I’m pleased to admit There is just one of me and God loves me to bits September 15th 2015
