Pardon Me, Pardon My Part 3
He: We should stop meeting like this. Good day ma’am. She: We should, I suppose. Good day to you. He: Such a lovely day. I rise everyday feeling mighty grateful. She: Long pause I wish I was grateful. An old hag like me does not have tales to tell. Even if I did possess tales. With whom would I possibly speak them to? He: I am quite familiar with such a feeling. No need to worry yourself silly. Life has its way of alarming us. It sure alarmed me to happiness. She: How so? I would like to think life is what you make it. He: You are right there querida. But at times when you battle your hardest war, You still lose. She: It certainly sounds like you have a tale to narrate. He: Ha-ha, I have many tales. I love one in particular. Would you like to hear it? She: What else would an old hag do? You may. He: Pardon my ambience. You are not such a thing. You were once a vision of brute beauty. And you still very much are. She: That’s quite kind of you. If I knew my life would be a bore. I would have chose differently few years ago. He: Pardon me for my candidness. But it is where it is meant to be. © Herzel Poshiwa
