America fell on that fateful day of September 11th in the year 2001. We were hit hard and the statue of Liberty started to cry. Then, when the mighty towers fell America shook; from target site NYC and DC to California. People everywhere came to aid those in need. America mourned for those lost and some of us are still mourning. For all of the people who are at war and dying. Death has struck America hard, right down to the core. Little children are crying asking, “Where is my mommy and daddy?” Alas, an awful lot of parents died on that fateful September day and many more are still dying overseas fighting the war against terrorism. Nevertheless, everyone has grown stronger, from the wee little children to the adults. Now, America is standing tall and the Americans are flying Old Glory high. The Statue of Liberty is shaking her fist at the terrorists. We Americans are winning the battles slowly and soon we are going to win the war on terrorism. Hopefully, peace will come again to the mighty United States.
