It Waits For You
Is an Angel flashing at me again? My senses glow with an awakening Running through my heart, Like waves of Spring spreading across The forest floors before the leaves. Calling me again through Eyes so sweet and clear, Drawing me with shimmering, Discovering holy songs Fill the world’s airways. The choir’s celestial song flows Through my veins today Sounding my depths Like a mermaid seeking life, Or is it just a dream? A flash that merges the chanting Voices into a single tone so silent That God can be heard calling, Or is it the natural shining Reaching out from the infinite Naturally creating life each moment? An opening to the waves of light, A joy that dances like sun On edges of the waves of time, Or flower fairies dancing In circles in the moonlight, Who really knows? But I cannot resist, I am drawn towards this heaven Like a child coming home, I see it in everyone’s eyes Glowing behind their masks Waiting to be released From deep shadows.
