Love Lost
I can tell something has changed The way you touch me doesn’t feel the same You barely look at me anymore Sometimes I feel like I’m just a bore It hurts, but what can I do? Obviously someone else has gotten a hold of you I can’t explain exactly how I feel It’s not like I ever had a spot for someone to steal The thing is something is off track The way you used to touch me, hug me, look at me, kiss me, Yea I want that all back You used to tell me how beautiful and sexy I am Now I can’t even get that, It is what it is, I can’t really be mad You’re not my man, so why does it hurt so bad? I sit and think…what can I do? I just want to make it right; I want you to want me too It sounds so pitiful, but unfortunately it’s true Someone has your attention and your heart Now I’m right back at start I guess I have to make myself not care But, it’s still not fair. The love I had, now belongs to someone else And now I’m here, again, all by myself.
