Now looking back, it really seems my future was planned and molded to do what most of my dreams already knew. By the time I was three or four, crayons and paper were favorite things. To draw for hours was not a chore. While making kitties and birds with wings, I dreamed of art and the magic it brings. By the time I was five or six, I was a momma with kids of my own, and day-dreamed using my make-believe tricks; Wherever I went I was not alone— with me was my family yet unknown. By the time I was eight or nine, my pencil and paper were close at hand; to write for hours was my pastime. I wrote about nature and life so grand and dreamed of poems and words to command. These dreams came true in later years: an artist I am and a poet too, and a wife and mom; so it appears my childhood dreams happily did come true Later fulfilled what they already knew.
