Should Be My Teddy Bear
Should Be My Teddy Bear Always assumed that he was an attribute Could be chided into teaching us how to compute And point to this applied was totally moot Realizing how smart he was as well as astute. Ogden Nash obviously did roll over in grave When he had discovered what kind of wave Swept over poetry world and was prepared For poets we had found out to be fair haired. Each poet we discovered was with much wit Amongst us were poets who already admit They and their poems were coming of age Comments committed must be locked in a cage. Admittedly admired promising poets already Did decide to taunt by giving them a Teddy Who had been a most beautiful brown bear Roosevelt's were running around everywhere. You should try thinking about this poem for more then just a minute or two. Adams, Bush's and Roosevelt's have already come in pairs. So instead of saying who cares do you think we should have to sit and stare at another pair who both together think they are beyond compare. Consider this as being my Will Rogers oriented poem of the day. Of the trade there are many tricks. Especially when it comes to politics. Right? I still have over 4,800 characters remaining. Wow.
