I'm in this cold dark room with no one to turn to I look at my hands starting to turn blue. Who will save me before I am gone? It's been three days since I've seen the sun. My eyes they burn like the hottest fire But my cold heart fears my darkest desire. I've tried my whole life to express how I feel So with this key my life I'll seal. One last chance has been taken away Only two last words on my tongue to say. I'm turning numb, my heart is slowing Just to my head my blood is flowing. My thoughts are haunting me like a ghost in the dark And at the end of the tunnel the candles spark. I'm reaching for your warmth And you don't come forth. So I take another breath and reach once more Is this the way God settles the score? If I had one wish I'd be someone else But I might as well just torture myself.
