Her Vs Life
Her Vs. Life Gazing up at the crimped clouds as rain hits her face, A youthful woman is strolling slowly across the soggy ground; her body's motion is with grace. In her mind she seems to be moving quickly, almost as if she is in a galloping race; It is her verses life, with her dreams staring her in the face. The power behind her to get to the finish line Is courage born from pain. Great things have happened though To people born in a much worse place. The odds are not all bad, There are just small obstacles that are in her way. She takes a profound breath As she continues to walk in the rain; She grasps it will not be easy But she understands she will win this race. It has taken a lot of time to get where she is today, and It has taken a lot of learning for her to discover her faith. All the races she has been in before were not losses, They each were training her to meet her fate.
