She Ends
Things never said, somewhere they hide She takes abreast memories of life Included wrongs and some, though, right Saved in chest with all her might She grows to life with buds of love: A daisy in heat, a fair fat dove Wandering daisy in nature’s plight Death did come––in day or night She loomed to the sanders of teens, Memories but so much obscene Shy her eyes, slaying her smile Hands clutching them hearts in pile Fairy tales of joy and pain, She met someone down the lane Planned vows, flew higher But he soon came out a liar! All in creases, Left shattered in pieces Neither she smiled nor she moaned But became as hard as stone Her eyes faded like greens of grass Love doesn’t find yet Alas- She found courage in the sight of rain That crisp- falling water mane Held by the sight, She thinks of him last night Taking their vows in dream that night But before she knew, beneath she died. In the rush of town, Laid a broken crown A suicide it was, end of clatter Soul came free of all the matter
