It Feels Almost Enigmatic the Way You Look At Me
It feels almost enigmatic the way you look at me, For once we felt so close and yet now we grow so remote, It felt like love, or did it feel like lust? Silken skin from a rose, my hands would touch, Vague essence of love, lost in the wind of lust, For once I dreamed that I could live, a thousand years from here, For yet I desperately crave, one strong, tender kiss, Yet time was not on our side, or might it had been that fate may be blind? For past is history, present is future and future is none, Yet past feels like yesterday, and tomorrow seems to be gone, For if I leave here today, would you still remember me as well? Would you come down from your throne and let fate be gone? For I would trade a thousand tomorrows for a single today... But yet, it still feels almost enigmatic the way you look at me. - Sek Chavira, July 23, 2015.
