A Wonderful Happening In the Card Section
the instant my left eye caught a glimpse of you in the card section my right eye immediately followed suit like it was finally viewing its favorite candy nervous and underconfident, i decide to try my luck and test the waters to my surprise, i chose a time when you seemed to be in a welcoming mood and in a good place unbeknownst to us, forgotten was a world with time, routine, a place to be someway and somehow, we end up in line at the same register talking about something or another suddenly, we both realize that we are at your SUV putting your bags in the back after a few moments of laughter, through some miracle you put my cell phone number in your contacts taking a big risk, i decide not to ask for your number and let God decide the rest feeling that i overstayed my welcome, i bade you farewell and safety and head on to my sedan after a few moments of staring into space with a silly smile on my face, i see that the moon was coming upm and i headed home humming a particularly upbeat rare song by billy stewart....wondering....and hoping....
