The Loss of American Soldiers Today
We lost Five American Soldiers Today Steve L Siegel July, 2015 ~:~ Today we had a mass shooting Were we lost five brave American soldiers Not in combat or in some foreign country, But, here in our own. ~:~ Not only to be recalled by their wife's and their children's They'll be missed also by this whole nation They will be remembered by all now and forevermore What that man did not count on was this country of ours You see, now this whole country is weeping with you tonight. ~:~ We have to remember that sometimes Soldiers must give their lives So that others may have there freedoms. We just never knew that it'd be this way In our own homeland. ~:~ We must remember them all in their Good times and happy times Don't let this mad man take away their glory, These five soldiers choose this life to live I know that they would've asked you to carry on. ~:~ They were our best and brightest Let that be their glory! For died as American Soldiers for all of us, With their boots on and as brother-in-arms... ~+~ To those whose five who have died this week Rest in peace and God Bless each And every family-member... I salute you, this nation salute's you.. ~:~ P.S. I write this as a former Solder myself.
