Tainted Temple
Temples for the living light Molded sanctuaries pure Sunday, stand in garments white Monday forth, by sin, allured. Some inject their scarlet blood With fast-enslaving poison, dark Some inhale instead of air Smoky devils - hellish marks Upon your lungs and nostrils clear Now with evil sap, adhered. Temples for the living light Molded sanctuaries pure Sunday stand the most upright, Monday forth, by sin, impure. Some consume a "harmless" glass Of liquid demons! Drink your fill, Once inside the temple, shall it Make your mind a hostage, stilled. Thoughts of logic fail to form, Your stainless mind, now stands deformed. Temples for the living light Molded sanctuaries pure Sunday stand thus shining bright Monday take the wrong detour. Some indulge in evil lust Blinded by a pleasured touch Once a body innocent, Now ensnared in wicked clutch. Spiraling in deeper wrong The temple now a grieving song. Temples for the living light Molded sanctuaries pure Sunday stand divine to sight, Monday forth, in sin, secured. Built were we as temples pure Yet with wicked feet we race Far from where our feet were placed Guilty pleasure, to embrace. Every stain upon our garment Stains the cheeks of heaven's Lamb With bloody tears of agony To see our doomed eternity.
