California's State Flag
I am a Grizzly Bear flag, with one star in the sky I'm a flag of the golden west I wave under skies, at the edge of a sea Over lands of the Pacific crest Where the mountains are tall, and the beaches are bright Where the valley's grow grain, stained with blood, sweat and pain Where such beauty unmatched, in a high mountain range and the Redwoods grow tall, far from Hollywood's fame California's Republic, had a lone star at hand Until a bear became known as the new source of pride I'm known far and wide, where the valley and tide has seen the pioneer come and a spirit so grand Representing a state, of the great Golden Gate And the state of the mind of the men who would fight To keep visions alive, shining regal and bright!
