Also Loved Me
Would Love Me On surface she seemed to be so sincere While underneath not liking it here And she wanted me to leave her alone So she could live a life of her very own. What she wanted to be was independent Which currently is message she had sent When I said I was deeply in love with her Wishing same attitude to her could occur. She had put me off over and over again Into her life was not willing to let me in Day after day I wondered and wondered Until all my love for her began to flounder. Knowing she didn't want me anymore And soon the ship approached the shore She finally cut me some more slack Thought for a while and wanted me back. It was too late and another woman I found Who I loved and enjoyed being around And guess who she actually turned out to be Some thoughtful person who also loved me.
