Fasting and Me
I have been fasting in full Every Ramadan month’s call I do feel hungry and thirsty But sometimes uncomfortable But I like anything doing it I put it my heart and mind I persevered and be patient Eventually it stops the problem. Fasting makes my body feel good It benefits my health and well being I can keep my fasting firmly Not asking my non-Muslim away eating If they do even keeping my faith It doesn’t mean disrespect It is to me a test of my faith I do love this for Allah’s sake. I do see a lot them eating and drinking But I don’t get tempted to do Even sometimes I am teased to try Then we get a good laugh Then my fasting remain I don’t need to pretend My fasting won’t disappear Even when I see sip their drinks. 25June15-KK-10:58PM
