What Jesus Asks of Us
What Jesus Asks Of Us… “Love your God with your heart, soul and mind.” This is the first great commandment you’ll find. “Love your neighbor as yourself,” is number two... These commands are what Jesus asks of me and you. The law, the prophets hang on these commands. God loves you! He doesn’t Make “impossible” demands. His death on the cross and the life he gave… He wants our love for him in how we behave. He created us to have a relationship with him. That we may know what It means to be “born again.” Reading his word will give us wisdom in what’s asked… This will give us a desire to obey him that will last. Let’s wholeheartedly serve him now! Our lives… He’ll restore! Living for Jesus… Who could ask for anything more? By Jim Pemberton 05/28/15
