Storm and Rain
how must i wake this morning when heralded with storm and rain that wash my tired eyes through glass i recite the days long pain again and again oh again and again how must i wake this morning how must i break this shame. shelter me from the heavy darkened shadows that remind me of the sun that once envigarated passions see me stood in winter fashions with skin unblemished pale and dour give me the sun that blossoms flowers when the seconds chase the hours. i exist in time not having lived this life like a fictional inanimate shape born of one mans imagination only to be brought to life in social situations give me patience or free me with eternal life stick my back in knife. just simply give me strength so when again the morning heralds me i may face it cap in hand smile and make a stand I'll greet each days storm and rain with hope of facing sun again.
