Riding the Clouds -Sara Kendrick
It seems that a weak sun is trying to penetrate my cloud~ A cloud so heavy filled with moisture it drips steadily Black ominous, not described as light and fluffy so hey you get off my cloud For the swallows dart about through the damp thickness like bats who fly at night Let's try to make my cloud go away Don't let it stay, clear it for future generations This cloud will engulf the wildest teen A cloud of destruction for our future generations How can our youth survive what has been placed around them A steady availability of illegal substance A diet that is totally unhealthy Violent games on gaming systems Teaching of right removed from the schools My cloud is heavy, chilling, swirling, damp, penetrating the core of society Citizens what can we do? Remember Rome did not fall in a day internal decay ate away its foundation A cloud of decay is consuming our precious society What can we do to redeem our future? Think it through what can we do__ Contest Entry
