Introspective Intrigue
A vision into what we know that never comes to pass. A dream inside a dream that just runs out of gas. The future changed direction and decided to turn round. And silent hazy mornings are all that we have found. Another day to chase away what doesn't come our way. To where a world inside a world is where we go to play. The spirits call in whispered tones to save us from ourselves. If we refuse to hear the call, we're left up on the shelves. An after thought where nothings taught is all some ever learn. Where all you sought you never bought, afraid to take your turn. When science makes more sense than God, it leaves you on your knees. And the absence of an answer leaves the preacher asking please. The farther that the sun descends, the closer things appear. Within a setting of amends in hopes to keep us near. We're left to wonder in our minds till St. Peter turns the key. Until that time all that we know, is it'll be what it'll be.
