Buddha
It was dark and grey when I saw you first time, On a pitch black wall, you were drawn Amidst others I was too Waiting for a pinch of glance There in the inadequate torch Where its flames were watched You were so calm and serene As a baby in the cradle Your eyes deep as a sea of peace Oh! I wish if I will get a piece of it Your hands raised in the sky To give hope and life You have understood truth and lies We fail to even realize the wise In the circle of vicious life It takes courage to stand But you O Buddha, stood still Where we all have fallen in the veil Hiding from ourselves We can not recognize each other’s faces We trouble, we kill, we burn Still we survive and alive Would I ever get the solace, Which you preserved for eras? Would I ever get a chance to sit beside you my head on your thighs…? I will sleep for ages then Never to open and see this cruel game When I was out of the cave And seen the day light I realized Buddha was inside which we would never abide.
