Split Up
One fine day when she woke up and looked into their bedroom mirror, surprised to see a crack out of nowhere. On her swollen face ran down a cold tear. When he got up with last nights memories, he said he had enough, now he wanted a split up, With numerous arguments and blame games, the crack on the mirror widened, He went to get ready for work, she made his breakfast ready, In the broken coffee mugs and torn pieces of bread, they remembered their past without looking at each other, When he left, she saw him through the parched window He saw her through the slanted rare mirror Day passed with her cries and his sighs, He was her echo and she was his voice But that night silences spoke and rested between them, whispering about a piece of paper to let them fall apart... to end the game.
