Cursed at birth my face rubbed in the dirt The kid brainwashed beaten full of fear and lost And so full of damn hurt Let down again and again Rejection my middle name No one understands and a beast evey one hates But can never tame. So here I stand on the edge of the preferface Swaying back and forth in the wind Staring at the dark inviting deep chasm below Knowing no one can or wants to rescue me And ready to let go For sadness is all I know.
