Thoughts
They told me to write To write what was on my mind But what was on my mind Could not be wrote. There aren't enough words to describe my thoughts There isn't enough time to write whats on my mind Into neatly sorted lines and stanzas. My thoughts are like waves that never hit the shore. To them it seems fixable But to me its a tsunami i can not escape. I reach out for help But labelled an "attention seeker" That is the last thing i want All eyes on me Checking me out from my head to toes Picking out each little flaw one by one. I try to be positive I try to express my feelings through writing Or to my therapist But in the end i end up staring at my wall Listening to the voices in my mind Telling me to give up To go swallow the bottle of pills To go pick apart my razor. But times like these i begin to think Who would miss me? And who would i miss? As i start to close my eyes I think you are worth it And i go to bed.
