Mean More To Us
Mean More to Us Best way to be is surely safe, sane and secure Try to stop worrying about things or fewer Be prepared for what God wants you to do Which is having been happy and not blue. About this I could forever go on and on Until on knees thank God and fall upon For peace and quiet here and more and more This is what I have always been looking for. Want to set standards when it comes to weight And find myself trying to further educate Those that become political and not polite Causing them to fight all day into the night. Guess what I also have heard in addition There are sports figures under suspicion Who for children are setting a poor example Their trophies and rings should take and trample. So why am I raising all of this frustrating fuss Our children are the ones who mean more to us Then sports world with all of its accolades Are all bad news needing mighty big band aids. What do you say to them remarks and apples lodged in their ever loving throats? Oh, and category anger is an understatement. James Thomas Horn, Retired Veteran and Poet
