All Quiet Inside
All is quiet inside No more dreaming of you Or anybody else Nothing to do besides Thoroughly sketching through Memories in past tense, Strolling just to forget How dearly I loved you Shortly after we met. Doesn't matter how you are What you do or what you dream You're no more my guiding star Although you so often seemed Not a dream with you I see, You think better if I did? Pregnant do I want to be Or finally get a grip? Live with motto "come what may"? Only in the here and now. People outside they decay, People live like that but how? Spending recklessly last cent For hot water and a beer Suppressing one good meal's scent And thought "Not again! All clear!" Wild flowers that I picked, Put in water just in case I would want to fool and trick Myself in an endless chase Of happiness and my dreams That come and they disappear, Rather often did they seem To become my very dear?
