Not a replacement. No, Lucy was Lucy. With a quiet meow, she liked to eat cheese. Just like Becky the poodle did. Lucy was both black and brown and very cute. She liked to sit on my shoulder and tickle my ear. Now that's she's gone, we all miss her. We thought she was fine. She defeated the first cancer attack and had many happy months. Then it came back and it was the end. One day Lucy, we'll meet again on the other side.
