Why Should I Forgive the Devil
Most of my life I have given no thought In forgiving the devil, he has broken My will to fight, leaving me extremely distraught, In a constricting snare I was caught, The way out still remains unspoken; The never-ending life long snare, I am detained, unlawfully bound, The origin of this snare is a mystery I swear, I can’t get out so I lay here in despair, This is the Devil’s hunting ground; I am constantly fighting the darkness, So that I might find a way out, I am stuck and must deal with the harshness, I know the shadows are not harmless, But I will be free; there is no doubt; As time goes by I realized, In order to regain my level, To stop the pain of being penalized, And stop being bound and hypnotized, I must speak up and forgive the devil.
