Wish I Knew
i just wish i knew but i'll let you do you. i'm so blue, you should have told me. oh, how i wish i knew. this is what you do. day after day, just looking for a way out. i wish i knew that we were through but i'm the best you'll ever do. better sit down, better catch your breath. you look a little nervous but let me get this off my chest. should have told me the second that you knew it wasn't only me and you. should have could have, never would have because you'll be afraid your whole life of what others think. pour another drink. you'll need it in a minute. i used to know love but now i know sex. i used to want you heart, now i want my fix. i bet you wish you knew how cold i could be. shit, i wish i knew, too. but what can you do? oh, how i wish i knew.
