If Night
If night had memory, you would be Soaked in darkness, a refusal of light, Imprinted permanently, a flower etched in Snow. I caught your lunar lip in a Orchard of arrived song. I hold you As the darkness does. Without citric Borders or day lamed noise. If night could shape you in a four Winded colour, you would bloom And burden out the darkness into Your own utter beauty. You fall Unborn weather into my arms in Murmurs of fruit and flesh. I love You as you darkly rise from my body and Bring dawn into me. If only for tonight we could dispel Time and root into solid night, A journey through through limbs, a long Syllable of chestnut, a kiss along Naked nerves. Stumbling out of earth Our bodies are damp with sipping sea And skin, calming storms and blood roses. I love you in divinity, I love you in hidden autumns. I love you without wanting and find nothing but wanting I love you as the night needs day to become Itself.
