Sleepless
Sleepless You used to be there waiting no matter night or day. Is it something that I said that made you go away? All those nights we spent together just you and me alone. I don't think I can do this without you on my own. The days all run together nights are filled with misery. I stare at the bedroom ceiling or just sit and watch TV. I used to say I didn't need you without you I'd be fine. It's been less than a week I've already lost my mind. Lack of you is effecting me my judgment and my choices. Laying here just last night I swear I heard some voices. I seem to be forgetting things I never forgot before. Today I walked outside but I don't recall what for. The neighbors were all laughing I felt the wind upon my chest. I looked down and ran inside I'd forgotten to get dressed. I swear it will be different this is not how it should be. I miss you so very much sleep please come back to me. Edwin C Hofert
