When I Glanced
When I Glanced Snow fell down seeming so silent, And on it always have been reliant To cleanse my soul and set me free By each small snow flake that I see. Some snow may swirl while in wind Not knowing where it will land or end; Maybe in water where it has to melt, And no longer again can it ever be felt. So much comfort is surely to be found When all of the snow was still around Even if unhappy or in times of sadness My many snowflakes am sure to miss. Snowflakes silently danced all over the place And to me always looked like a friendly face Waiting for me as they pranced and pranced But like lost lover left my life when I glanced. James Thomas Horn, Retired Veteran Wrote this after watching Movie Frozen and listening to its so precious song and also watching Movie Cinderella.
