Jesus,My Ever-Present Refuge,
Jesus, My ever-present refuge, Written:By Tom Wright 3/23/99 I have rested in Jesus', shadow come the heat of my life's day. I have carefully traced His footprints knowing deep within , He was the way. He has never ever deserted me though trying times, to me, have come. Always sticking closer than any brother quite contrary to the manner of some. When my life has been at crossroads and I've felt within, discouraged or blue. I was always consoled by the knowledge that Jesus, Himself, had been there too. When all my hope seemed to vanish because by, Satan, I was tempted sore. In Jesus' shadow I quickly sought solace knowing my need for Him was more. So many times from our carnal decisions We cause those who care to grieve. While in the midst of life, storms rage and we oft lack faith simply to believe. It's in this our lack, Jesus, is sorrowed by carnal things we do and say. Let's each pray daily for our measure of grace always seeking His will and never our way.
