The Dancer
The Dancer The dancer rose early every newborn dawn to see the bright sun meet her eyes to feel and touch the joy in the skies admiring the flowers across her lawn Life gave it all to this perfect woman fantastic beauty and the brains to plan long legs, sexy body and very dark tan soothing grace to inspire love in any man Such perfect balance on her dainty toes she swirled proudly as in a fairy dream dancing to beat of any melodic love theme such dancing made one forgot their woes Her world spun to bring such sweet love flying across the room like a turtle dove matching the brightness of the sun above all were watching spellbound and in awe of The dancer rose early every newborn dawn to see the bright sun meet her eyes to feel and touch the joy in the skies admiring the flowers across her lawn R.J. Lindley Sept, 14th 1977 Note- Tribute to a lady I once loved. She that yielded to family wishes and abandoned our life and plans. I was judged not good enough for her and perhaps it was a correct judgment. Life flowed ever onward.
