The Nights Shadow
For Aslong as my mind does remember, The dark of the Night fills me up with Terror. A memorable night at the bottom of the bed I Lay, A ghostly figure, A haunting Wave. Out from the cupboard a hand like figure appeared, Bringing upon me an unwanted Fear. A moment of Panic as I shouted and screamed, waking my Parents from the pleasant dreams. Awakened they were as they adjusted their eyes, looking upon me as I cowered and Cried. Softly they whispered " Steven are you Ok " As they gazed towards my Snow White face. Frightened and shaken I started to Speak, The tears still drilling onto my Cheek. Over there towards the ghost in the Cupboard, I slowly disappeared under the Covers. Mum and Dad looked over replying that they both couldn't see and that darkness of Night was playing tricks on me. To this day I believe what I'd seen, it wasn't a trick, or part of Dream. Afraid of the Dark my phobia remains, as I continue to play these Ghost hide and seek games.
