Lucy Little Pot
Lucy Little Pot, steamed her rice and got it hot. A piece of chicken was what she sought. Poor Lucy Little Pot, she just didn't have alot. Neighbor Ned with a small head because his heart was large. Decided he would get that chicken and there would be no charge. Tomorrow came with more of the same. Lucy Little Pot still had naught for what she sought. And her belly began to rumble. But Lucy Little Pot, meek and mere, never would she grumble. Ned with his head too small to think. Resigned to giving up to drink. Invited Lucy Little Pot to drown in all her sorrows. For he forgot that he had bought her hope for new tomorrow's. Lucy Little Pot declined his offer. For she still had hope in her coffer. This story is one for the child inside. For adults to remember, you can't run and hide.
