Crossing That Bridge
Oh I do tell of this story of that amazing ride that day In the telling of His Glory such hope that's in His Way Going to work on I-95 right down by the Philly airport I'd hit this smell as I drive like the sewer of some sort And each day I would again pass and there that smell In the smelling of all that gas from Sunoco and Shell But today and just before I simply praised His Name You can be sure that things certainly weren't the same Like the florist or a viewing such a strong flowery scent I knew exactly who was doing but not what it had meant As over that entire bridge I went His love being so clear Such a Heavenly scent as the Lord holds us all so dear Saying I don't need a sign as my car is now descending I believe just fine maybe someone else needs amending Working in His mysterious Way as maybe that one is you And as you're sitting here today all that I have said is true
