Broken
I wish I knew just how I got to this place. Where I can look in a mirror and see an unfamiliar face. Once a young man full of dreams and pride. Now just a lost soul that's empty inside. Before my life took many unfortunate turns. And replaced my family with headstones and erns. It seemed that my life had purpose and meaning. And I tackled each day with passion and feeling. Sometimes for a brief moment i'll catch a glimpse. Of that srtong young man whom I haven't seen since. I can feel him inside desperately trying to get out. But fears cloud my mind and fill me with doubt. I don't even know where to start because i'm bent and i'm broken. You can hear the pain in my voice with every word spoken. I wish I could find my way out of this place. And once again find myself in a more positive space.
