Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required Finding Me I sat down to write tonight and I will not deny it. I heard a breaking in my soul as my mind just grew more quiet. I felt my burdens leaving me my life flashed before my eyes. My body rested peacefully I heard a babies cries. My spirit floated aimlessly there's no baby anywhere. Then I looked inside of me all I could was stare. Crying out instinctively was a child I didn't know. As I stood there looking I watched the child grow. I heard peoples voices they began to criticize him. I began to weep as I began to recognize him. I saw everything he saw I felt everything he felt. I knew that he was broken by the cards that he was dealt. I tried to call out to him to tell him I am near. My calls went unanswered and I knew he did not hear. Tearfully I looked around for someplace safe to hide. I awakened from my sleep and I took my place inside. Knowing things unknown before it's only I that can now see.
