Tonight I Close My Eyes
Tonight I close my eyes Tonight I touch the sky And once again the stars would show me our dreams Dreams so long forgotten Dreams carried with the breeze Oncemore without demand the stars show me your heart And I'll remember you I 'll remember me I 'll remember us I' ll remember how and who we used to be Those playful fingertips tracing my sultry lips Arms wrapped around my waist Moon glowing on your face Tonight I close my eyes Tonight I touch the sky And once again the stars would show me our dreams Dreams so long forgotten Dreams carried with the breeze They reveal each whisper related to your breath They show me misted windows and a single bed Tonight I close my eyes I'll read between the lines Tonight I' ll find that chapter where goodbyes were pretty lies I await the sunrise with you still on my mind Tonight I close my eyes Tonight I touch the sky And once again the stars would show me our dreams Dreams that in a yesterday were sweet realities.
