Blessedisthemorningbeforeithasbegun
Blessed is the morning before it has begun. Just as me, just as you. Night is the mother giving birth to the sun. just as me, just as you. Slowly comes that brand new babe, as our world turns. Just as me, just as you. Light splits across the low sky, making raw umber hues. Just as me, just as you. We are just shadows in this baby light. Just as me, just as you. Giving all the new day a shared delight. Just as me, just as you. The answer to this simple rule is heard in the trees Just as me just like you. With the birds singing in another day, so it seems. Unlike me, what about you? I am not too sure what this form is and ask all here to help me figure it out. The repeated line, also maybe better as the title, again not to sure? Would love to here your thoughts on this, thanks. Also I see this as a simple children's poem, in the same understanding as William Blake. Also does this site allow for stanza breaks? It seems limited in how you can format your poems here? Rose of Words
