Words of An Angel
She really did catch that train as she was headed back home So much time spent in vain like the streets she used to roam All those lights passing her by as she looked out the window Sitting there asking herself why, an answer she couldn't know It was the other night when someone reached out to her Giving her a new sense of sight as to the way things were Together they sat down to eat on that cold December night Not a nicer person could you meet for this was not her fight And as the two sat there she looked at the young girl's face "Now is the time to repair all those things you can't replace You have so much to achieve and so much yet to live for This is the time to leave and find out what God has in store" Something about how she spoke and in all the words she said Finally something inside had awoke as it all clicked in her head In the reflection of that window she seen her sitting just behind Yet the train was empty though just like that place they had dined
