With sadness I see my peers grow old, but a young person is still trapped in my frail heart. What will transpire as I watch the year unfold? Which high school friend will be the next to depart? How I miss Elaine, a sweet lady so beautiful and smart! Even more distressing are the family concerns -- aging siblings and a dear uncle of great years. Fear within my spirit relentlessly burns.
