Railway Adventure
I got on the train and was looking for my seat The weather was hot by the summer heat I was so tired that I couldn’t feel my feet I couldn’t either find anybody for me to lead I finally sat; a host came and asked me what to eat I said I wanted some rice and a big piece of meat But make it quick please, do me a great deed It’s good of you for a starving man like me to feed Then I saw a girl with a book about to read With her dark hair held up she looked so neat I didn’t expect somebody this glowing to meet And with her big hazel eyes she looked very sweet A girl like her is just what I need If she was mine I would gently her treat And on somebody this beautiful I’d never cheat Now I feel that she’s the one for me indeed I wanted to talk to her and I hoped I succeed My heart was fiercely starting to beat I wish I could’ve had the words freed But I was afraid she might’ve not on me agreed Then we got off the train into the street I ran after her with my full speed Grabbed her arm, asked her to marry me….. And before her I got on one knee She was so surprised and told me to repeat I could not at that stage retreat Because love in her pretty eyes was guaranteed And with her my life would be complete
