In Other Words
Why would I call to the Lord, why would I ever do this Riding high here in my f-150 ford, the Lord I don't miss I have everything I need right down to fitted floor mats Now my family I must feed, so that will be the end of that Besides, I never prayed before so why would I start today I know exactly what's at my core and I made my own way This Jesus that you now speak and all of that bible rigmarole You can't live being meek, as what they did to Him, we all saw It appears that you are weak and so on this Jesus you lean And to me you look like a freak but I'm not trying to be mean I don't need to listen to His Word for I made it myself this far Despite what you've heard, I don't know who you think you are Nobody helped when I was down, sick people I knew died This Jesus and His Holy Crown where was He when I cried But I don't need Him anyway I made it this far as you see So next time you have something to say don't say it to me!
