Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required Sacred Moments I slip into the stillness of a new day, were deep peace and new hope await me. The squirrels and the many multicolored birds outside the window by the bird feeder sharing their morning meal. Trees swaying back and for in a soft summer breeze. I release past hurts with new seeds of strength and feel content with life. All those trees are mine. How many? I stopped counting at one hundred. Birds, squirrels, turtles, rabbits, chipmunks, possums, raccoons, deer's, foxes, even a bear in a neighbors yard, all come to visit at times. There is much tranquility in those quiet moments of communication with some of the visitors. The other day there was a white tailed eagle by the roadside eating a snake. Part of natures beauty, drama and reason. There are no words to express the feeling of contentment inside of me. It is almost frightening to feel so untroubled in the storms of life all around. If escape is, what I am looking for I shall seek the silence of wisdom, the calm of serenity, and the strength to step into tomorrow without today's pain and yesterdays stress.
